Great Balls of Fire (Lyrics)
You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain
Too much love drives a man insane
You broke my will, oh what a thrill
Goodness gracious great balls of fire
[band joins]
I learned to love all of Hollywood money
You came along and you moved me honey
I changed my mind, looking fine
Goodness gracious great balls of fire
You kissed me baba, woo.....it feels good
Hold me baba, learn to let me love you like a lover should
Your fine, so kind
I'm a nervous world that your mine mine mine mine-ine
I cut my nails and I quiver my thumb
I'm really nervous but it sure is fun
Come on baba, you drive me crazy
Goodness gracious great balls of fire
[piano solo]
Well kiss me baba, woo-oooooo....it feels good
Hold me baba
I want to love you like a lover should
Your fine, so kind

Short Analysis of Song
This song seems to be a song about a girl like any other. The song could also be about the fame and money he has come into and how he likes it, and likes being known. Some have been assuming this song is about his thirteen year old wife because the song was released the same month that they were married, but he did not write the song. Some say the the song is speaking badly of the bible and have called it blasphemy, but Jerry was a christian man and he would not have written anything to be offensive or disrespectful toward the bible in any way. The song seems straight forward as could be.

How Did Jerry Change Rock and Roll?
Jerry Lee Lewis brought some crazy into rock and roll, he was reckless and crazy with his music. He sang songs with content that was surprising at the time and did a whole lot of moving around at the piano. He was rebellious and brought some drama into the world of rock and roll with the scandalous life, like marrying his thirteen year old cousin. He was kicked out of cities and even the country at one point and largely got bad publicity which is why songs after word got out of his wife didn't sell well.
